At the 2024 Annual Assembly of Delegates, a rule change was adopted to guarantee two joint equalities meetings are held each year. The meetings are attended by committee members from across all of ASLEF’s equality strands and aim to share good practice, plan and prioritise work going forward, with more focus given to intersectionality.
