Following the adoption of a motion submitted by ASLEF’s LGBT+ Representative Committee to the Annual Assembly of Delegates in 2023, each District Organiser is now mandated to sponsor a yearly equality event, aimed at existing Branch Equality Reps and members who have an interest in becoming active in this area. The first events took place in 2024.
