Lockdown restrictions in 2020 and 2021 had prevented in-person Retired Members’ Forums from taking place. In 2022, the Forums returned, with one held in May at Yarnfield Park in Staffordshire and one held in November in Scalby near Scarborough. Both events were oversubscribed and included a range of external speakers, including speakers from the National Pensioners Convention, an organisation that many RMS Committee members hold positions in, at both national and regional levels.
