2020: Menopause Campaign

On International Women’s Day, 8th March, ASLEF launched its first menopause campaign along with a report of women drivers’ experiences of menopause in the workplace.

The campaign aims to raise awareness of the issues women can face when they are experiencing menopause, and some of the steps that colleagues and employers can take to support them. Part of these steps were a model workplace policy which was developed for ASLEF reps to place into the machinery of negotiation.
