In April 2019, Women’s Representative Committee Chair Deborah Reay took part in the first ever women’s trade union delegation to Palestine.
The trade union movement organises regular delegation visits to Palestine to allow British trade unionists to meet with Palestinians and understand what life is like in the occupied territories.
This first women’s delegation was groundbreaking, and allowed women trade unionists from the UK to meet with women trade unionists and activists in Palestine.
