The BEM Representative Committee organised a tour of the International Slavery Museum in Liverpool in July 2018.
The tour was guided by museum staff and saw over 20 ASLEF members from across the country joining the group.
Through the tour and the museum, members learned about the history of the slave trade in Britain, and the impact that had on black people not just at the time but the continuing impacts today.
